This how we should define WOKE.

We should say “Woke is a worldview using the lens of Marxism”. Then give examples:

* Use identity to divide ppl into oppressors & oppressed & set them up against each other
* Individualism replaced by tribalism/collectivism, eventually by totalitarianism
* Abolition of tradition, e.g. attacking marriage, family, sanctity of life, religion…core foundations of our society.
* Use media & educational institutions to indoctrinate the masses
* Use coercion, eventually force, to control speech, e.g. hate speech. Manipulate words to control thought, e.g. replacing equality w/ equity; no one can define “women”…
* Capitalism to be replaced by Socialism in the name of fairness & social justice.
* The Truth replaced by your truth vs my truth. “Lived experience” trumps rationality.
* Revision of history for political goal, e.g. The 1619 Project.

Include some personal examples. If the other side is still not convicted, refer them to works by Antonio Gramsci, the grandfather of wokeness.

😕I’ve been trying to stay away from Twitter for a few days (maybe after this tweet I’ll do it).

3+ yrs ago today I was just some guy, a dad & a husband, toiling away in a nursing home tucked away in a corner of some blue state.

I wasn’t political - like, at all. In fact - I despise the duplicity & rancor of politics. If you met me you wouldn’t guess my politics - I never discussed them much with anyone.

I never voted for Trump, I voted for Obama in his first term & Gary Johnson (the libertarian) in the second election, IIRC. I simply was some rando healthcare worker - really, nobody remarkable.

When the lockdowns started, like everyone else I was caught up in the mass panic & shock. I went along with it - I supported (brief) mask mandates. I felt unsettled & very wrong about it, but I went along with lockdowns. I believed this would all go away when vaccines came out.

But it didn’t. My kids stayed home from school for a year. My nursing home patients got sealed away from the world & subjected essentially to nonstop terror campaigns, treated like prisoners (I’ve talked about the “prison-like window visits”) & essentially subjected to solitary confinement. They were cut off from their families. Everyone around them faceless, masked. I got to watch nurses trying to force decrepit old people with dementia into masks. These are images I still can’t get out of my head.

I started feeling increasingly frustrated, guilty, demoralized. I was holding it all inside.

The world has gone completely insane now, with a single party & a weird, toxic, paranoid patchwork ideology of Wokeness & biomedical terror reigning unchecked on the population since Biden took office.

So I became a sort of weird online activist - I became “GeroDoc” almost a year ago now.

My main advocacy has been to get an “urgency of normal” for nursing home residents started. I see the fortunes of children (who also have been isolated, terrorized, & forced to mask like nursing home residents) linked with my residents. The most vulnerable in society have been used as political pawns by cynical operators who weaponized empathy to control people.

Everyone’s life has changed since three years ago. I don’t have nearly as much joy as I used to about the world - and I see what happened three years ago was a turning point where hope was stolen from so many of us.

Anyways, I don’t know what else there is to say. I’ll read a few responses then I think I really do have to log off for a few days. Thanks for listening.

I am a survivor of Mao's Cultural Revolution. Here are some of his revolution features and tactics. You can judge yourself if these look similar with today's American woke cultural revolution.

1. Mao started Cultural Revolution to purge his political enemies and become a "Supreme Leader" to control entire China.

2. His campaign slogan: Destroy the “Four Olds”
-- Traditional Ideas, Culture, Habits, and Customs

3. Arbitrary Division of society by using “Critical Class Theory" and identity politics by dividing people into:
Oppressors – The Five “Black Classes”
Oppressed – The Five “Red Classes”

4. Quasi-religious indoctrination of urban youth “Red Guards”, shut down schools for years for them to do class struggles full time, promote division, hatred, envy and equity.

5. Toppling down statues, putting big posters and spray paintings on the walls, riots, looting, violence, law enforcement told to stand-down.

6. Change school or street names, change words & definitions, censor words, burn relics, temples and churches, demonize all the religions as cults, promote communism as the sole ideology, Mao as a God-like leader.

7. Struggle sessions, public shaming and denouncing, self-criticizing, apologizing, thought reform re-education camps for the "Black Classes".

8. Guilty at birth, by relationship, by association, past words/deeds, lose jobs if you don't comply, silence is violence.

9. Family and neighbors turn on each other, children were told parents are not dearer than Mao, urge teens to change last names to cut ties with their Black Class families to show loyalty to the “revolution”.

10. Redefine social norms, promote unisex gender-less society, girls dress like boys & soldiers, create confusion & social chaos, banned dating in schools.

11. Press & media were controlled by CCP & used for propaganda daily, cancel individual merits, silence dissident voices from all professions, ban books, songs, music, art and comedies that are not PC.

12. Using mob tactics of fear, intimidation, torture and violence, no rule of law, 20M died, many committed suicide including intellectuals and party officials who supported the regime.

Hope you understand why immigrants like me, and many others are very concerned today about America. We want to give our warnings until we stop the destruction of the country we love.

Hello my melanin challenged friends.
I am in a unique position being both black and white. My Father Black and Mother white. I have always chosen to identify as black, because when you see me standing at 6'5" with caramel skin. You visually, can see I'm not white. I get mistaken for Latin, Pacific Island, Samoan, and even Indian often.

February was "Black History" month, which I think should be done away with much like gay pride month.

There seems to be recent increased video of blacks committing violence against each other, whites, and Asians. I, like you, find them disgraceful. My black side finds it disturbing and sad. There is a lyric in a Tupac Shakur song - "They say it's the white man I should fear, but its my own kind doing all the killing here. I can relate to that. You are correct to feel righteous and justified anger when you see these types of displays of violence. I know young black males execute the highest percentage of violent crime.

I want to appeal to your conservative and logical nature and remind you that the people in these videos are a minority of a minority of blacks in this country. Most blacks, are like most of us. We want to be safe to pursue happiness. We want our children to be better off than we were.

I want you ask yourself the following questions.

Why are there all of the sudden more of these videos on social media?

Why is there always a camera rolling when these acts are occurring?

Who is sharing these videos and what sources are they coming from?

Do think you saw more of these videos because it was black history month?

We know social media was used to sway pubic opinion of political candidates and topics, right? So, why so many videos of blacks doing terrible acts of violence infesting social media?

I contend the establishment wants white people to get angry, and start perpetuating stereotypes of conservatives being racist. They scanning Twitter and other social media. Do you have conservative, patriot, MAGA, Ultra MAGA, Constitutionalist, libertarian in bio? They are compiling the metadata to concoct a narrative to further anger and divide and ultimately isolate we the people into our tribes and making conservative minded people villains.

They NEED conservatives to finally say enough and take matters in their own hands out of frustration and do something unthinkable.

Those in control want we the people divided, unfocused, angry, and feeling isolated and powerless. All the while they are moving their agenda forward.

I'm asking you to think and reflect before you share that video, make blanket statements on race, and think before responding in anger or frustration.

There is too much at stake to allow them to win. I don't want to do anything that allows them to accomplish their goal of having complete control over our lives.

Truth is, most of these fears have a grain of truth, on Both sides.

...Wish we could start w/that & Build from there in a respectful way.
...Wish we could Recognize the common ground: that Most people desire the same end goal: a healthy, safe country, w/healthy, safe citizens.

Here's hoping that somehow we can move past all the fear & come together in a more productive way.
