@chrisbett Our ST numbers are increased enormously since the reduction in their allocation.

@chrisbett Because 8000 weren't available as ST's outwith a small number who accepted ST without OF games and a few who were offered a a ST with OF games and were moved into the odd seat in the other 3 stands that hadn't been sold (usually restricted view)

@chrisbett I'm not sure I follow you, but are you assuming that 6000 people would pay for a ST without an OF game?

If so, you are terribly mistaken. If you're not getting a ticket against them, you have no incentive to buy a ST as you will get a ticket for most matches on general sale.

£110 x 8000 =£880k

ST sale £400 × est 6000 = £2.4m

The club clearly need to maximise ticket income when coming from a starting position of 9000 less seats. That 1.5 million difference is far better to be guaranteed income.

@chrisbett I also think the financial aspect of us reducing their allocation just cannot be overlooked. It is vastly more important than us being able to have a few thousand more fans stuck in a corner at CP.

@chrisbett I just don't agree that the 800 fans make as much, if any, of an impact at either stadium. Especially as at CP we are stuck in a restricted view corner way out of sight. I think the old 8000 allocation certainly allowed them more of an impact as away fans than us due to location
