Greedy privatised water companies treat our rivers and seas like an open sewer.
And they've ripped off the public with higher bills while handing nearly £90 BILLION to shareholders since privatisation.
In Parliament, I called for water to be brought back into public ownership.
It’s sad to see some of the reactions to Mykolenko’s new deal, I get that he’s no Leighton Baines (not many are) but the lad gives everything whenever he wears the shirt. It’s ok to have an opinion on what you think of his performance but some of what I’ve seen is disrespectful
Jenrick: "..those people who are doing a 40hrs/week & then choosing to do extra hours to look after their family.. those people can do those hours without paying any money to the tax man"
Why not address the fact that people working 40hrs/week can't look after their families?
Good to hear @andy4makerfield outline so powerfully today why, after 40 years of neo-liberal policies, our communities are crying out for real change.
Makerfield, like so many communities across the UK including West Derby desperately needs that change.
Only Andy will deliver that change & I look forward to making that case on the doorsteps over the next few weeks.

Farage is showing us who he is.
Cutting welfare hits pensioners, disabled people and low‑paid workers.
Social security isn’t ballooning - it’s been a steady share of our economy for years.
Billionaires’ wealth has doubled since 2010.
Nigel won’t go after them though.
Today in Parliament, during the final King’s Speech debate, I made it clear: the Right to Food is not charity it is a fundamental human right.
In one of the richest countries on earth, no child should go hungry while billionaires grow richer. No pensioner should be forced to skip meals. No family should have to choose between heating and eating.
Food poverty is not inevitable. It is the direct result of political choices, austerity and an economic system that puts profit before people.
That must change.
Our Right to Food Commission report will provide the government with a ready made solution a roadmap to end food insecurity and guarantee dignity for all by investing in our children and the future economy.
