@McNasty yes and no, the atheist will have more leniency since they didnt not know of Jesus's teachings, but might not go to heaven do to not having accepted Jesus as the way. HOWEVER, a Christian who acts "evil" or "luke warm" will immediately be turned away and denied, lest they repent.
@mark_slapinski I see, so deeming another person from a group as a "pig" justifies murder? I wonder if youd accept that belief if it were to be turned on you and you were killed "like a pig," of course.
@CameronDan_cd@OriFanIKB@FainBeThyFathom@ronnieagabajr Yes, but is it at that point a Christianity issue or a people issue? Because in Christianity we are ALL children of god and made in his image, what they did was dehumanize them to excuse their atrocities under the flag of "Christianity" when they expanded.
@CameronDan_cd@OriFanIKB@FainBeThyFathom@ronnieagabajr Not really, I'd prefer if Christians were like the Disciples and taught the gospels like them, however, we're all dirty sinners who abuse God's grace everyday. But thats merely my opinion.
@CameronDan_cd@OriFanIKB@FainBeThyFathom@ronnieagabajr No, it wasnt about Christianity at all, yes they used Christianity as a figure head and tried to convert the Natives into Christians, but the entire point of Manifest Destiny was to go Westward and take land, not to spread Christianity.
@CameronDan_cd@OriFanIKB@FainBeThyFathom@ronnieagabajr Manifest Destiny was horrible, dont misunderstand me, but it was a gross twisting and abuse of God and Christianity as a means to excuse their atrocities on the Natives and to expand Westward.
@CameronDan_cd@OriFanIKB@FainBeThyFathom@ronnieagabajr Hence why I said "to an extent" because the Muslims were conquering all of Europe and the Christians fought back. I'm not entirely versed with the crusades, but I know that's how they initially started.
