We weren’t called to just sit in pews/chairs.
We weren’t called to keep our faith on Sunday mornings.
We weren’t called to hide or play it safe.
When you’ve experienced what we’ve experience, why would we keep it contained?
Let that light shine today.
Revelation 2:4
“Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.”
Colossians 1:17–18
“…that in all things he might have the preeminence.”
God doesn’t want to be an add-on or a backup plan…he wants to be FIRST.
Because whatever you put FIRST sets the order for everything else in your life.
Matthew 6:33
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Matthew 22:37–38
“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart… This is the first and great commandment.”
1 Corinthians 3:6-9
I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase… we are labourers together with God.
Mark 9:35
If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.
Galatians 5:26
Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying one another.
If you’re competing with someone in ministry, you already lost.
Competition kills calling.
We’re not called to compete with each other. We’re called to complete each other.
"We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12
I'm wrestling with a variety of emotions, but mostly I'm just troubled in my spirit. Heartbroken for his family, especially his wife and kids.
Our country is broken. We desperately need Jesus.
"The laborers are few...."
We don't need more Holy Ghost.
We don't need more anointing.
We don't need more power.
We don't need more opportunities.
We need more laborers.
You never trade in your towel for a pulpit. The pulpit is simply another place to serve.
If you’re in a pulpit with no towel you’re probably only serving yourself.
