I disagree. As much as I wanted to see both yesterday, imagine this fan base if JD reinjured himself handing the ball off because he wasn’t 100%. Or even if Terry made his hamstring even worse by pushing through. Sometime coaches have to protect athletes from themselves.
Then let him go. wtf.
WR1 wanted to go. QB1 wanted to go. DQ definitely thought this game was a layup. Wasn’t respecting the Colts. Thought they could do it with Marcus and nem.
@AsiasAnalysis I somewhat agree but with JD we are talking about the same dislocation twice in less than a year. Wanna make sure it’s good to go. Terry also had a hamstring issue last year and we don’t know exactly what it was or severity of it.
@SleeperWSH Absolutely go for 7. Nothing will change my mind on that. I would’ve like a better job with the clock management from 51 secs on to save a TO to have the ability to run if we like. Also worried about Turpin than pooch kick it short of landing zone so he can’t return it. Ballon 35
@JoshTaylorFB That’s was my biggest issue. The losing 22 secs and not running a play and using the TO. I believe that whole drive plays out differently if that sequence didn’t happen and didn’t play scared to leave time on the clock. I stand by the go for TD with 3 secs was the right call
@kaystake_ Except we wouldn’t have been up. Still down 4 and yes we got the ball back but with the way defense was playing, FGs weren’t gonna win the game. Freak accident that could’ve happened on any play as he got injured trying to keep his balance. Right call was to go for TD
