On this day in 2020 West Ham staged a remarkable comeback to draw 3-3 with Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in front of 0 supporters having been 3-0 down.
Manuel Lanzini would score a sensational 94th minute equaliser.
All it took was £451.3m spent this summer, three unbelievably fortunate refereeing decisions, and a foundation built off two decades of financial doping. Bravo 👏
Fabio Wardley is still a huge success story. Turned pro with the expectation of an Area Title being an achievement. Has won English, British, Commonwealth, and World Titles. Has headlined multiple PPVs and his home stadium. Also made a truck load of money. Amazing
David Byrne and Daniel Pemberton's new song "Let Me Sell You a Dream" from Alex Gibney's latest film MUSK.
MUSK is a scathing, deeply unsettling look at Elon Musk and the power he’s bought, amassed, and wielded across tech, media, politics, & culture.

Knowledge is power. 💫 In MUSK, Oscar-winning director Alex Gibney delivers a jaw-dropping, informative, and yet endlessly entertaining "examination of the world's richest megalomaniac" (@IndieWire). Now playing in NY and LA. Nationwide Friday! #MuskMovie

All before the age of 30. Ducks nobody. Is always entertaining.
Appreciate what he's doing because not a lot of people are doing it like him
Imagine if Europe, in the days after 9/11, had cleared its throat and announced: We have struck a tremendous deal with Osama bin Laden. We have lifted the sanctions on his organization, so he is now free to trade on the open market and bankroll his war against the United States. Bush must step down. The man has no cards.
Has he even looked at his hand?
But no. Europe did nothing of the sort. Europe did not sit down with a mass murderer and come home gushing about what a strong and reasonable fellow he turned out to be.
Europe laced up its boots, flew to Afghanistan, stood shoulder to shoulder with the Americans and hunted that bearded wretch through every godforsaken mountain in the country, because that is what you do when a friend gets hit, and handing the attacker a shopping list while telling the victim to surrender is what you do when you have lost your mind.
Thames Water is due to run out of money (again) over the next few weeks. A year and a half ago it was given a £3 billion bailout now it's asking for another £2.4 billion.
We really are being taken for mugs.

“At a time when Donald Trump’s party is struggling to hold both houses of Congress and his own approval ratings are cratering to historic lows, the President has been campaigning hard all week against . . . Volodymyr Zelensky,” Susan B. Glasser writes. “Yes, Trump’s October preëlection surprise is that he’s finally decided to begin openly helping Vladimir Putin in Russia’s war of conquest against Ukraine.”
“Trump has pivoted to Putin so many times before that it should hardly astonish anyone that he did it again,” Glasser continues. “But these crises that Trump provokes with such regularity always manage to reveal something new, and this one has been no exception, showing a President so politically cornered by the consequences of his war in the Middle East that he turned to Putin to help him out with less than three weeks to go before the midterm elections.” Read her latest column: https://t.co/3Y9r03Q5Gv

EXCLUSIVE: Elon Musk approached Donald Trump with the idea of slowing down Starlink in Ukraine, The Telegraph can reveal.
The billionaire tech entrepreneur approached the US president with the proposal to introduce speed limits on the system, which hampered Ukraine’s drone defences, according to four sources familiar with the discussions.

If one billionaire can slow down the internet for an entire country, shut down Starlink during crises, turn off your car and your wifi, and censoring voices online, that billionaire has way too much power, with no capability of accountability. The definition of power, unchecked.
