An example of a pop culture text is the television series Gossip Girl. The show follows the lives of socialite teenagers in NYC and “gossip girl” is the anonymous blog the show revolves around that reveals secrets about the characters #315slides

@JamalAlyanna @ManiktalaTarush Is there a feature on chrome that you use in particular? I have been looking for something like this to help limit my time wasted online browsing haha 😫

[Talia Bilotta @BilottaTalia]

Wow, I forgot about this show. Everything was so simple during this Disney channel era 🤣

#GoodLuckCharlie is another example of #writingtheinternet the show revolves around the Duncan family. Teddy (the oldest daughter) video records their daily adventures as advice for when little sister Charlie starts growing up. #315slides

This is a great tip. I'm going to try this!

After watching videos on the #futureofwriting, I found that many people agree on the fact that online resources such as Wikipedia will expand and more information will be accessible/free for the general public #ccom315

@MorganR91673669 It's such a great method!! I suggest downloading the app "Pomodoro" :)

[Talia Bilotta @BilottaTalia]

This technique allows me to manage my time sufficiently and avoid distractions from social media, MyCourses, communicating with friends, etc.

[Talia Bilotta @BilottaTalia]

A strategy I use for navigating the "always-on" lifestyle (especially during the school week) is the pomodoro technique; where I break down my work into 25 minute intervals that are separated by short 5 minute breaks.

Wikipedia is a "bad" source because it can be edited by anyone at any time. As such, there is a lot of misinformed information on Wikipedia that was created by people with the intent to mislead others based on what they believe is true. #315slides

[Talia Bilotta @BilottaTalia]

@AlliceBlimi I think the best part of Wikipedia is definitely the fact that it is a free website and easy to navigate/read!
