I was in an online class where everyone was asked to introduce themselves. I happened to be the second-to-last person to speak. As people introduced themselves, I noticed that almost everyone was working in big companies and doing well professionally.

When it got to my turn, I introduced myself as usual. But after I finished, I forgot to mute my microphone. Thinking no one could hear me, I quietly said, “So all of you have jobs, and I’m the only one that is jobless.”

To my surprise, the host heard me and immediately responded, “Don’t worry, by God’s grace, you’ll get a job soon.”

At that moment, I was so embarrassed that I shouted, “Ahhh! I’m so sorry, I forgot to turn off my mic”

It was both funny and embarrassing, but at least everyone got a good laugh out of it.
