أسست قبيلة العرينات بلدة البرة بمحافظة حريملاء في نجد عام 1100هـ تقريباً، و البرة عمرت قبل ذلك في الجاهلية والاسلام عدة مرات، ويقول فيها يحيى بن طالب الحنفي المتوفى عام 180هـ: خليلي عوجا بارك الله فيكما….على البرة العليا صدور الركائب. ومن معالمها الآثارية قصر البرة العليا (الثرماني) المعروض بالفيديو.
