Starting spooky with a new subathon!

We waited long, we got through complications and oddities but it is finally starting! In about 38 hours from now we will kick off and do some spooky stuff!

Can you please explain why you removed the statement that we will get a key when you release on a third-party platform from your FAQ section?

Or why are you telling your early backers to purchase the standard edition again if they want to link their game to Steam? Not to complain too much. I am sure that there is a very good reason. But quite a lot of people see 52 euro as a lot of money.

For those who don't really want to search for the sources, from what I've read so far on Steam and the Tarkov webpage, no matter what edition of the game you own, you must purchase the baseline version of the game on Steam if you want to play the game on Steam.

Which, to be very clear, isn't what we agreed to when we backed the game years ago.

Seriously? With all of the money you already had? I'd buy a cool skin. I'd buy new customization options. I'd praise you if you finally added an iconic gun. But this is just... wrong.

Yes, I am aware that I can just play using the launcher. If I play the game, I will do just that. I am aware that I do not have to own the game on Steam as a backer. But this feels like a common courtesy BSG should extend to those who supported them for a very long time.

In the wake of the skin gacha drama, I remember this interaction. Some of the magic of this game is gone after a few major controversies after another, but... I dunno, this is one of the first fandoms where I actually like the fandom as much as the IP itself. #GFL2
