ππΉ Married to the π of my β₯οΈ. kitty mama. π I live by the π« GOLDEN RULE π« and believe ππ½ HOW YOU TREAT OTHERS REFLECTS HOW YOU SEE YOURSELF! π₯
One of the enemyβs most effective weapons is comfort. A comfortable church becomes a surprised church. When Christianity is framed as safety, influence, and cultural approval, believers are unprepared for suffering. Scripture told us plainly that affliction is normal, not strange. βDo not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon youβ (1 Peter 4:12). Yet comfort dulls expectation. It trains the church to assume peace as the default and hardship as an interruption.
When persecution comes, the comfortable church panics, compromises, or retreats because it was never taught that βthrough many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of Godβ (Acts 14:22). The enemy does not need to silence the church if he can first soften it. Comfort weakens vigilance, blurs doctrine, and replaces endurance with entitlement. A church trained for ease will always be shocked by suffering. A church trained by Scripture will be ready for it.
@catturd2 Merry Christmas @catturd2 from my girls who donβt give a ratβs behind hair about anything but naps and snacks. π
