Underrated benefit of @github Package Registry for npm: package scopes are now required and always identical to the GitHub user/org name. Package ownership is now far more obvious and transparent. Much more direct than the extra layer of indirection that is npm orgs/users
@GeoffreyHuntley@ben_a_adams It might then be a little cruel when in 2-3 years time it is learnt that the idea is to move away from RESTful APIs to a GraphQL API. It is exactly these migration projects that use services to merely return data from a sacrosanct data repository that are begging for GraphQL.
@GeoffreyHuntley@ben_a_adams There are a lot of projects on WCF and they find themselves pretty much in the same place the projects that had Webforms found themselves in say 5-6 years back. And a large number of these teams have already started making the move to Web API. Latest example: A Swedish MNC.
