Protests in Rubicon on Taungurung continued today, stopping logging machines from going into precious forests where citizen scientists found 6 Greater Gliders last night! Gliders are still being logged where they're found, @DanielAndrewsMP needs to protect these forests.
Under a little-known treaty, big polluters are suing governments for taking climate action. Join to stop this absurd treaty & RT: https://t.co/f8Zr4cquWn
More good news! Last night, Murrindindi Councillors unanimously passed a motion to save 8 coupes from logging by VicForests.
Located on Dry Creek Hill above Snobs Creek waterfall, these are the heart of future tourist activities in the region.
Are you listening, @CeoForests?
I can’t lie, it feels pretty shabby that at Parliament’s International Women’s Day breakfast we are being spoken to by two men - the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition - about the issues facing women.

I’m so proud today to bring a group of my constituents to Canberra to launch the Australian Local Power Agency Bill. I invite all regional MPs to join us and harness the potential of renewables to drive an economic boom in regional Australia.
If the PM accepts workplace sexual harassment & even assault is prevalent in Oz why has he not actioned a SINGLE recommendation from @Kate_Jenkins_' historic & revolutionary workplace sexual harassment inquiry? (As detailed by @KZiwica in @WomensAgenda) https://t.co/wLt9lBgIVk
Renewables are good for farmers. Dave Ritchie from Mansfield in my electorate, has just installed a new solar array with batteries and aims to have his whole farm hit net zero by 2025. Australian farmers get it - renewables save you money and build energy security.
Remember that time a female government minister was asked by a journalist about her experiences in parliament as a woman, but a man abruptly interrupted her. That same man says he's fit for the job of addressing the mistreatment of women in parliament. Yep. I know.

"One of the UK’s most eminent environmental scientists has called the government’s failure to block a new coalmine in Cumbria 'absolutely ridiculous'".
This is worth sharing for the picture alone!
This is exactly what approving a new coal mine looks like.https://t.co/FL1CU5Gm0v
