How can we hope for steadfastness without a righteous secret life, without striving in seclusion, without a daily portion of Quranic recitation, without night vigil, without the desperate supplication of one in distress, and without knowledge that benefits us?
When you meet that person who's written for you,
There's a strange feeling you'll sense,
Foreigners call it chemistry or vibe,
We can call it affinity or harmony,
The beauty of this feeling is that it will remind you of how important you are!
Nobody sees you when you wake up exhausted in the morning and head to work
Nor how many times you were scared of the days
Nor how many times you smiled while you weren't okay
Nor how many times you pushed forward without any energy.
Disappear and heal yourself
Pray more, work more, exercise more, read more, clean up your diet, call upon your Lord, sleep deeply, compete with yourself, block toxic people, face your fears, and don't compare yourself to others
Beware of the sins of seclusion!
The sin of secrecy is not bad only, but it deprives you of the delights of worship and may even prevent you from performing a worship you were consistent in, such as the Witr. You may think it's just a sin, but then you are surprised by effects.
Have you ever sinned and thought that God would not forgive you?
Then found your heart softening, your tears falling, and your tongue repeating: "I seek forgiveness from Allah"?
Those are not just your feelings; it is a call from Allah to you to return, He revived in your heart.
Shaytan wants you anxious all the time, scared about your life and your future. He makes every step feel risky
“Shaytan threatens you with poverty and calls you to indecency, while Allah promises you His forgiveness and bounty. And Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.”2:268
3. His stomach refrains from food and drink, and
4. His private parts refrain from immoral behaviour.
If he speaks, he does not say anything that would harm his fast. If he acts, he does not do anything that would spoil it. Instead, all his speech becomes beneficial and good.
Ramadhan 1447 (Day 17)
The Fast That Truly Benefits a Person
Ibn Al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said in his book (A true fasting person is the one):
1. Whose body parts stay away from sins.
2. His tongue avoids lying, obscene speech, and false statements.
In an authentic hadith, the Prophet said: “Whoever does not leave false speech, acting upon it, and ignorant behavior, then Allah has no need for him to leave his food and drink.”
We are living in the blueprint era of Dajjal and Yajuj & Majuj. The foundations are being laid in plain sight. Raise your children firmly upon tawhid and anchor them in "Surah al-Kahf". We may not witness the final unfolding ourselves, but the generation after us very well might.
