Hard to sell data w/ limited cash (60m end Q1). From the PR: ”…and provide a company presentation on the BIO International partnering conference in San Diego on June 22-25…”. A deal is at least 9 months away. Buckle up for a share issue!
Another one bites the dust. I had to read pretty far down to find that primary missed at the lowest dose (40 mg; p = 0.168). Higher doses (70 & 100 mg) were not disclosed. ACR50 of 38.9% vs 35.3% placebo at 12w is hard to sell… w/ upadacitinib having 52-56%. $SYNACT #resomelagon
Given the criticism of how @FDA has handled $SRPT Elevidys its interesting to see if they will do anything with $BMY IMiDS given the hard evidence that IMiDS don’t work in elderly non-ASCT pop. FDA has all the evidence but hasn’t acted upon it (see link) : https://t.co/WxhTXy9PqD
The problem with analysts is that they have zero skin in the game. Putting a price targets is completely different from portfolio management. Fundamentally, a stock can be cheap but remain dead for years. As a PM, you need to generate returns within a short to medium-term time frame. Analysts are good discussion partners but are never reliable advisors for when to buy and sell. Additionally, small buy-side accounts always receive calls last— if at all.
A Planet Fitness $PLNT Black Card membership cost $300/yr comp. to $11.000-$16.000/yr (Zepbound/Wegovy excl. disc.). How about payers would demand (and pay) a 3 month Planet Fitness membership with mandatory 2 classes per week before paying for GLP-1s 🤷🏼♂️

Eli Lilly CEO Dave Ricks says on @WSJ podcast that the company probably needs “10 or 15” plants to “even approach” tirzepatide demand, each of which takes 3-4 years to get up and running. They’re building 6 now: https://t.co/dS9hAdjxN9
Following the acquisition of Veloxis and Calliditas, Asahi Kasei should acquire Hansa Biopharma to complete its renal portfolio (transplant & maintenance immune suppression). Hansa’s management has, to say the least, done an unimpressive job with its key asset, Idefirix. $CALT $HNSA #asahikasei
BBG TRx for Xpovio 30Rx for Jan. (last 4 dots upper graph). BBG data isn’t reliable for small products but it can show a trend. Xpovio didn’t have 30 TRx during a single month 2021 (lower graph) so if the trend continues 2022 could be a good year for $KPTI.
