@swaay2x@AlwaysRight_98@CultureCrave Okay, in that case the first Scary Movie. Gags like Ghostface running downstairs away from the piano or badly hiding behind the sofa with his feet poking out. These are actually funny jokes and aren't trying to offend anyone.
@swaay2x@AlwaysRight_98@CultureCrave But Parody doesn't need to punch down. Good parody like Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz or Naked Gun and Airplane! actually rely on proper comedic setup and payoff and timing over pure offense and shock value. This is the Epic/Disaster Movie style of comedy and completely dated.
@OhRichard271@CultureCrave I mean I'm just looking for funny humor and it's not even that. And I don't even wanna hear the "well it's supposed to be offensive!" argument. The best comedies don't rely on being offensive. The first scary movie didn't fully rely on offending anyone.
@AmazingSAMazing@WongUpdates He didn't "use AI for his acting." They used AI for pitch correction for a couple vowels in his accent, which is something they do all the time for accents.
@PipLiam@Lakeshow_323@CultureCrave That's fair, and I really was hoping Xbox would make fantastic games again for the Series X era, but I'd argue that considering how much the industry has exploded in the past 10 years the push to make great games in general has only gotten stronger.
@PipLiam@Lakeshow_323@CultureCrave Yeahhhh Playstation is doing fine and absolutely embraces their fans and makes games people want. Games are infrequent now but it's quality over quantity. And the console wars are absolutely over considering Halo is coming to PS5. Xbox aren't making exclusives anymore.
