If you thought we were already living in crazy times, you should reconsider: Former OpenAI founder Naomi Bashkansky is now building Thought-to-text, aka telepathy.
How to achieve Thought-to-text? Simple: More compute:
"To train models that can predict text given brain signals, we must apply the same lesson learned by those predicting text given speech audio, or text given preceding text: the bitter lesson.
The lesson roughly states that you should throw more useful compute at your model, and your model will become better than any ingenious algorithm you could've hand-crafted. That means we must scale up our data collection by orders of magnitude beyond what has ever been done in academia."
Things will get very weird.
You can now buy a weighted vest modeled after Dragon Ball Z's Vegeta battle armor.
It has adjustable loading up to 20kg/44lb.
There was a time I would've thought this was stupid, but if it gets people moving, I'm here for it.
This guy lost his phone at the office. Find My was disabled by his company's MDM. Spent 30 minutes turning the place over. Nothing.
So he asked Claude how to find it. Claude suggested tracking the Bluetooth signal strength. Then wrote him a working signal meter in about a minute.
He walked around watching the number climb. Found it.
Here's what the tool actually does.
→ Scans every nearby Bluetooth device and shows signal strength in real time
→ Hunt mode lets you track one specific device by name
→ Add sound and it clicks faster as you get closer, like a parking sensor
→ Works from the command line, no app, no dependencies, no Find My needed
The signal strength tells you roughly where you are. Arm's reach, same table, same room, far away. You walk slowly, watch the bar move, and zero in.
He open sourced the entire thing.

Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI):
"You no longer need to write prompts."
In just 38 minutes, he explains how to use ChatGPT at a level that most people can't even imagine.
It's a talk he gave to Stanford students. A friend sent me the recording last night.
After watching it, I realized I was only taking advantage of about 15% of what this tool can really do.
Watch it in full and then read the guide I leave below on how to create a system that prompts itself.
