The hardest part of keeping birds is saying goodbye. Cinnamon started out as a shy bird. She would do anything she could to have a treat without touching me! Eventually she warmed up to me and would perch on my hand. She holds a special place in my heart. Rest In Peace my angel.
Sparky⚡️and pumpkin 🎃 are Orange Bishop Weavers! They are known for delicately weaving nests out of long blades of grass, or whatever they can find! It is so fun to watch them work. I can’t wait to see it complete. Here they are using bits of twine for a nest!
Venus is finishing up her first molt. That means her clipped feathers are finally gone and she can now fly normally!!! She has been learning how to fly longer distances and working on her aim! 🎯 #cockatiel
