@AFpost I can’t believe Jack Murphy still has a show, or any online presence after people found the videos of him cuckholding and taking it up the a** for clicks. Why would anyone go on his show lol
@RubenHaramorim@Polymarket I addressed that, and yes it is still being demanded but it has not been implemented by Apple and it’s currently being litigated. Apple claims they will not do it regardless of the outcome. We will wait and see
This is a fair point but my understanding regarding PRISM is that they are/where participating in a legal framework to provide iCloud data sitting on Apple servers, but there again if you’ve enabled ADP they no longer have the keys. Google and Microsoft don’t have a comparable option to ADP and they comply with the same requests.
And I don’t think that’s what people are talking about anyways when they make the claim, I don’t think they’re talking about data sitting on Apple servers which is known to not be E2EE which is provided upon legal order and is also publicly disclosed through transparency reports. If data is not specified as E2E I have zero expectation
People have this idea without a shred of evidence that Apple backdoors your phone for the US government or 5 eyese governments. Apple literally tabled end to end encrypted iCloud storage for 7 years because of legal challenges and pressure from the FBI for refusing to break the encryption on the iPhone used by one of the San Bernardino terrorists. THEN when the case was eventually dropped and Apple implemented ADP on iPhones so that only the user has the keys to the cloud, then the UK government mandated them build a backdoor for them. Instead of building a backdoor Apple opted to disable ADP in the UK under duress to comply the the UK government denying it that backdoor. Apple has done more than any other Major tech company to allow users to maintain the keys to their own encryption, most people on here spewing that Apple compromises their products have not even taken the steps to enable ADP on their own devices or even know what it is. Rant over
