A litte variety at Climping this morning despite the cold conditions, with a smart male Redstart north of the golf course, a Short-eared Owl, 2 Red kite, a Slav Grebe off Poole Place, with a Sand Martin and a few Blackcap.

My first Wheatear of the year at Climping this morning, c400 Brent moving east and a good candidate for a Caspian Gull on beach.

Couple of scare records today for the patch with a Ringed N Parakeet in Bailiffscourt and a Greylag Goose west of the hotel grounds. c70 Yellowhammer still in the area around Ferry Rd and at least 8 Chiffchaff Longwood.

Local rarity in the form of a Nuthatch around Atherington cottages this morning, also a probable Grasshopper Warbler, Redstart, 2 Spot Fly & 9 Wheatear.
