Lord Nazir Ahmed (Rotherham) was convicted in 2022 of attempting to rape a young girl and sexually assaulting a boy (1970s). Original sentence: 5.5 years. Appeal reduced it to 2.5 years. He served roughly 13+ months before release.

His two older brothers, Mohammed Farouq and Mohammed Tariq, were charged with assaulting the same boy. Deemed unfit to stand trial; a jury found they committed the acts, but they received absolute discharges. No wonder the rape of children went on for decades in Rotherham. The brothers never sat a foot in jail.
