Here is a question. You think Cora didn’t want Bregman back even though Bregman loved it here? You think it was Cora who didn’t believe him that he had another offer from the Cubs? You think it was Cora who cheaped out? You think it was Cora who wants Durbin as his 3rd baseman over one of the best leaders in baseball? (Cubs 2nd best record in baseball by the way). This team is a joke but it’s been a joke for a long time and it all starts with John Henry. He won’t pay for anybody. Breslow sucks. Henry sucks. #selltheteam
John Henry not being in attendance for Joe Castiglione’s final game ceremony is insane.
He’s owned the team for 22 years, and Castig has been at the mic for all of them.
@Jared_Carrabis make sure to add to your notes for the series recap, Casas should never… and I repeat NEVER. Be attempting to steal third with no outs. #section10

“Sam Kennedy told us that Dustin Pedroia FaceTimed him, Alex Cora, several of the assistant GMs at dinner last night to point out the remaining free agents on the market and make his feelings known about what the Red Sox should do…”
Pedroia is a legend.
Robinson Cano believes Dustin Pedroia should end up in the Hall of Fame:
“He deserves it… He’s a guy who got out of bed every day and played hard. All the things that he did for Boston, even if they had Manny [Ramirez] and all those guys, you had to think about Pedroia in the lineup. For me, I think he deserves it.”
He’ll appear on the ballot for the first time in 2025.
Justin Turner is always going to be on that list of former Red Sox players you wish spent more than 1 year in Boston.
Immediately became the leader of a team without an identity. Limped around in August/September and refused to stop posting.
2024 Red Sox are going to miss him.
