@BronFredericks@DimityD@ausoftheyear Lovely to meet you @BronFredericks - such an exciting night for us with my dad's award! (it's Melissa here). So many amazing people there doing such wonderful things for our communities - we all came away inspired.

From our blog! These steps might be just the beginning of your healing journey, but they may be some of the most powerful you can take. Be gentle with yourself, and know that you are not alone. #birthtrauma is real. It is possible to heal. https://t.co/xuxle4YyAc
Congrats to @DornanPeter for his award for 50 yrs in Sports Med. Peter has kindly allowed us to use his physio rooms for 15 years so we could have free meetings to support women after birth trauma. We are so proud of him!
Why we started https://t.co/MdzxXLWB7U. Why we wrote our book How to @healabadbirth And why we are still here after 15 years, doing this work. The important thing to know, and our message to you all is this: not only is #birthtrauma real...but it is possible to heal.
It's Father's Day in AUS. So important to remember that dads can be impacted by traumatic birth too. These men often suffer in silence with even fewer avenues for support than women. Awareness can be the start of finding support and healing. To all dads-go gently today xx
Someone posted a pic of our book "How to @HealaBadBirth" & asked if it was any good. All feedback received was positive, but the one that made us cry was this (we asked permission to share). This is EXACTLY what we hoped our book would provide- we are so very glad.#birthtrauma
It’s our book! Being used just as we’d always hoped - by women needing support, in their own time, on their own terms, creating their own journey towards healing ❤️ Thx so much @rebirthblogger for sharing and best wishes for the journey 💕
