@ZahiraJaser To be honest, the feelings go beyond what the mouth/brain can express. It hurts very much, and it contradicts everything we have been thought.
@PSalwanDaher I swear I wasn’t able to put words on what we saw. Just unbelievable ! I know humans are capable of a lot.. but never had I thought that there wouldnt be mercy AT ALL!! They’re crazy!
Israel just bombed right now, again, Damascus, Syria. I never saw a “victim” who bombs 3 countries at the same time. They only know death and destruction. #IsraelisATerorristState#news#Syria
@ZahiraJaser One of the major challenges in my life was and still is to explain to people that I can be both an Arab and a Christian.. and that Jesus was not Italian, but Palestinian. I’m not even joking.
Israel just bombed Damascus. I called my parents, as always, to make sure they are ok. It was closer than usual. Right in the centre of the capital. My mother was 200 meters away, my father was 500 meters away from the blast. All of what is going on is unacceptable. All of it.
We were always forced to swallow every single piece of injustice. But the genocide of Palestinians is not swallowable. Having the same actors infringe international law and sovereignty of the neighbourhood and risking our families lives is also not going to be swallowed anymore.
Rafah is one of the most densely populated places on earth, teeming with children and families, some already displaced many times by war in Gaza.
Of the 1.3 million people seeking shelter, 600,000 are children.
They have nowhere safe to go.
They must be protected.
@Theholisticpsyc The least we can do for those who are living those situations you want us to turn our eyes from, is to acknowledge their suffering. If the human being enacts its selfishness, the situation will not even give you the privilege to think that you could close your eyes anymore.
@Theholisticpsyc our nervous system needs to be able to detect when something outrageous is happening even and especially when we’re not directly impacted- like a genocide - so that we can act accordingly, help and prevent. Closing our eyes and acting as if nothing is a privilege, not a solution.
