Lost 5 years of savings this week to Coinkite’s negligence.

I told myself I was done with Bitcoin.

Took a few days… then I bought more.

I’m not fuckin’ leaving.

Time to re-read the books that got me started.

It’s been a rough few days, but I’m trying to keep my head up.

I’m just a normal dad with a couple of kids and a wife, trying to save for the future.

Right now I feel like the guy who walked up to the empty lot where his house used to stand…now a pile of coals.

In that moment you get a choice.

The only one that feels productive is to pick up the hammer and nails and start rebuilding.

@brucefenton I think it’s a time for self reflection, but I’m not going to point fingers at the community. I did my own research, and choice the hardware wallet I believed to be the best. I’m rocked but most of my frustration lies with Coldcard. $40k gone, years of saving for my family.

Came home last night after a long day of volunteering to find my wallet was drained, completely empty. Years and years of DCA gone. Thought I did everything right with my hardware wallet selection and the steps I took to keep my wallet offline and safe. Wow this one hurts.
