Where are the Texas Bitcoiners at?
This ₿ sculpture is carved from Texas Gold Limestone from a quarry near Austin, and I’d love to see it end up where it came from originally.
Who wants to add this to their collection and show it off during Bitcoin Takeover week at SXSW?
An artist puts time, emotions, and effort into their work. Every line and color holds their energy, like a piece of their soul.
Bitcoin works in a similar way. Miners use electricity and work hard to create something permanent. Each Bitcoin is stored energy, effort, and time, saved on the blockchain.
Both art and Bitcoin take energy and turn it into something that lasts. One keeps the artist’s spirit, the other keeps the power of machines. Both live on forever.

There’s a passage in “The Agony and the Ecstasy” where Michelangelo tells Contessina di Medici that stone carving doesn’t take energy out of you, but rather puts energy into you.
The hard part sometimes is getting started, but once you do, it’s better than coffee. Back to work..
Calling all bitcoin artists!
A new bitcoin hub is opening soon in SF. We're looking for bitcoin-related prints, paintings, sculptures, and maybe a custom design for the entrance.
If you do custom work or have art to share, ping me so we can determine whether your style fits.
