@modernemeid I would want to pay the fees to zero. However, where do you expect me to get the money ($700 per term)? In a situation where banks don't have money to pay their customers. I guess not everyone working with NGOs or having an idea about oil money.
@modernemeid I'm wondering if it's the same scenario in the UK where parents who pay for students stay more than a year without salary ๐ค
Is it the samething in the UK public university where students are forced to pay fees in foreign currency and neglect local currency?
@CanSouthSudan@CanadaFP@CanadaDev@EyesAbroad@CDinOT@cheryl_urban@alykhanrajani Let them be tax. At least S.Sudanese gets tax revenue because all diplomatic missions and international humanitarian agencies operating in South Sudan come with their own people to work with them or employ foreigners and leave qualified S. Sudanese. They're foreigners benefiting.
@CentralBoSS_SS What's the function of auctioning? If you take biders' SSP, remain with it in your premises, and don't release cash (USD) to them.
How do you expect commercial banks to operate if you hold both their SSP plus USD they intended bid. Or commercial banks lied to us (clients)

@marynubas2 Looks great!! This will inspire our young girls here to be the best in their careers. I'm going to buy one and donate it to a girls' school in Rumbek.
@EyeRadioJuba I'm optimistic enough for:
1- Stronger SSP against USD.
2- Inflation to drop - at least should come up with inflation target rate.
3- Youth who are trekking streets of Juba to get employed.
4- Prioritise ppl welfare & Dev't.
5- Implementation of all policies discussed.
@SouthSudanGov In our voluntary professional body; South Sudan Economic Council (initial stage), we made a decision to make presentations. However, the info on that banner is insufficient. It doesn't tell who're invited to participate, doors are locked in the MOFEP for economicists to inquire..
@SouthSudanGov Great idea! The THEME of the conference summed it up all.
But my question is, how best should the upcoming economists (us) be involved in this conference such that the government utilises our corrupt-free and untapped ideas?.
