WLFI vs HTX observations

The theoretical illusion of "decentralization" just hit a wall of corporate hypocrisy. WLFI unilaterally froze all user tokens in HTX-linked addresses, claiming a "UK sanctions compliance review."

But let's look at the actual data. This wasn't a surgical strike on bad actors or corporate wallets; it was a blanket lock on assets legally bought and held by ordinary retail users.

No clear explanations, no transparent timeline for unfreezing, just a total breach of trust.

When a project team can simply override liquidity pools and hold their own supporters hostage because the market structure moved against them, the "code is law" thesis is completely dead.

Key actions taken by @HuobiGlobal to insulate its users:

• Trading Halt: All WLFI trading services suspended to prevent artificial price manipulation. Tokens are safe on-chain and withdrawals will open instantly post-unfreeze.

• Risk Isolation: Closed all deposit/withdrawal rails for the team's affiliated USD1 token.

• Capital Protection: Executed a mandatory 1:1 conversion of all user USD1 balances directly into liquid USDT stablecoins to eliminate risk contagion.

Today it’s $WLFI holders facing asset confiscation; tomorrow it could be the entire industry's consensus on digital property rights being challenged.

Bottom line: Watch what teams build into their token contracts, not what they promise on their marketing roadmaps.

最近发生了一件令我觉得不可思议的事情。
#WLFI 项目方以英国制裁相关审查为由，对 HTX 相关地址中的 WLFI 资产采取了冻结措施。

需要特别说明的是：
此次被冻结的，不是所谓的被制裁主体的资产，不是HTX平台的资产，而是所有用户合法购买、持有的资产。

截至目前，我们尚未收到项目方关于冻结范围、合理合法合规的冻结依据、执行标准以及解除机制的充分说明。

制裁误伤用户的事件爆发后，全行业的友商都在帮htx渡过难关，积极帮助用户解决问题，与制裁���关的都在逐步解冻。而WLFI团队在这个时候选择冻结用户的资产——自己项目的持有者、支持者，令人难以置信，无法理解这么做的真实动机。

区块链行业之所以能够发展至今，核心价值之一就在于：
任何机构或个人，都不应随意剥夺用户对合法资产的控制权。

如果一个项目方可以因为自身判断而随意冻结用户资产，那么用户持有的究竟是数字资产，还是一串随时可能被没收的数据？

作为平台，我们始终将用户权益放在首位。
1、HTX已经正式向WLFI提出交涉与维权要求，敦促其尽快解除冻结，恢复用户资产正常流转权利。
2、在问题解决之前，为保护用户利益并避免进一步风险扩散，HTX决定暂停WLFI相关交易服务。可以放心的是，代币一直在链上，不会丢失，一旦解冻就会开放提币。

此外，为了防患于未然，我们也关闭了和WLFI团队相关的USD1的充提，并已经把所有USD1兑换成USDT，确保用户资产安全。

对于 HTX 而言，最重要的从来不是某一个项目，而是每一位用户的权益。

我们始终认为，区块链行业的发展建立在公开、透明、公平以及用户资产自主权的基础之上。任何可能影响用户合法资产权益的行为，都应当受到充分审视，并遵循透明、合规、可验证的程序。

用户资产的安全与自由流转，是整个行业赖以发展的基础；用户对资产的自主控制权，更是区块链精神的重要体现。

今天受到影响的是 WLFI 持有者，明天受到挑战的可能是整个行业对于用户资产所有权的共识。

这一原则，不应被任何人轻易突破。

对于这次事件，我们会不遗余力采取一切合理措施维护用户合法权益，后续进展也会第一时间通过HTX官方公告同步。
