The Epic Return from Black Rock City 💥

I left on August 18 and just got home TODAY —and trust me, the real New Year doesn’t begin on January 1.

It starts the moment you return from Burning Man.

Even with the brutal storms, 22 hour entry lines if your timing sucked, and 50 mph-plus white-out dust walls ripping through everything—It was still FKN amazing.

Burning Man is Burning Man

—nothing else on Earth packs that gut-check resilience, boundless creativity, and sheer awe - it never ceases to amaze me

You come back not just inspired—but inspired to the core, blown away by what it takes to survive and thrive in that environment.

And the FKN art?

We Absolutely FKN CRUSHED it!

Titanic’s End showed up in force, bulldozing every barrier like only a true playa legend can.

That iceberg-art car deserves your full attention—it’s that epic.

Titanic’s End: Art Car Legend
A mutant, iceberg-inspired floating art car built for ocean advocacy. Debuted in 2022, fueled by glow, ambition, and love for the sea.

25,000 build-hours; it stands 65′ × 35′, weighs 45,000 lbs, lit up with 88,000 LEDs programmed by the biggest chads on the planet.

It takes us x11 18 wheelers to bring this to the desert - wrap your head around that and the logistics that go into making that happen.

👉🏼Burning Man 2025:
Stats, Chaos & Triumph & Camp Carnage

Saturday night delivered a “wall of blowing dust”—gusts over 45 mph, visibility dropped to zero, tents and art installations got shredded.

The “Black Cloud”—an 8-ton inflatable—was destroyed.
The iconic Orgy Dome was obliterated by 50 mph winds.

Gates reopened Monday, but early in the week, entrance queues stretched up to 8 hours across the 8-mile stretch.

Resilience & Recovery
By Thursday (Aug 28), entry wait times dropped to around 15 minutes as weather calmed and morale soared.

Attendance & Demographics
Roughly 70,000 people converged on Black Rock City this year.

Attendee breakdown: 41% in their 30s, 24% in their 40s, 14% in their 50s, just 1% under 20.

Gender: 60% male, 38% female, 2% non-binary.
Education: 69% with bachelor’s or higher.

Origins: 34% from California, 40% other U.S., 18% international.

Race: 69% white, 7% Hispanic/Latino, 6% Asian, 4% Middle Eastern/North African, 1% Black/African American.

Experience: 25% first-timers, 6% with more than 20 burns.

Wild Happenings
Despite chaos, people rebuilt camps and kept the burn spirit alive—no small feat.
There was a tragic incident: a suspected homicide occurred during the burning ceremony.

One of My Favorite Moments: Titanic’s End + Philharmonic

One of my all-time favorite moments was when Titanic’s End joined forces with a live orchestra at sunset. That glowing iceberg art car became a stage for sweeping orchestral music, swaying thousands under swirling dust.
Imagine thousands dancing in the fading light, voices cresting in unison as the orchestra ripped Bohemian Rhapsody—it was FKN epic

It. Was. Pure. Magic.

TL;DR
Burning Man 2025 was epic, chaotic, unhinged—and utterly triumphant.
White-outs, 50 mph winds, 8-hour entry lines, destroyed art—Black Cloud, Orgy Dome, airport shutdown—but Burners made it happen ANYWAY.
Titanic’s End: a glowing iceberg-car absolute crushed.
Roughly 70k Burners, mostly 30–50-year-olds - highly educated, global, bonded through chaos.
Apex: Titanic’s End transformed into a stage for the Philharmonic. Thousands sang Bohemian Rhapsody in the dust—pure magic.
