@heresyfinancial Not the same. The USA population was booming at incredible speeds. Debt was low. And employment was incredibly resilient despite the restricted monetary policy.
If the same thing happened today you would need to delete the whole system and start it over wiping the debt away.
@venaInSV It’s also partially China has minimal regulations / workforce protections and no property rights. They can bulldoze whatever and rush through construction.
@rdd147 Oracle and openai are the only ones that can’t pay for it.
The others can pay for it but it could cost all future stock repurchases and all future dividend making the stocks kinda meh.
@StanphylCap What I’ve learned is you can be totally right about the end game but completely wrong about the timing. There is an absolute army of investors making sure this lasts as long as possible with their every waking breath.
@IAPolls2022 You could look at this by home ownership rate and see a similar trend. People that already home view the affordability issue as not their problem.
