Total CFP wins the past two years:
The state of Indiana: Six
The entire SEC: Five
We’re living in the crossroads of college football, dear neighbors and friends
This is the worst selection committee we've ever had.
Cannot believe Alabama didn't even drop one spot after the SEC title game blowout. Cannot believe they waited until the final reveal to flip Miami-ND. Could have done it at ANY point.
Indiana only lost two games all season, both on the road, to Ohio State and Notre Dame, the two teams playing for the national championship. #iufb
The manufactured narrative that IU didn’t belong in the College Football Playoff can formally be classified as utter nonsense.
Notre Dame, the team Brian Kelly left behind because he didn’t believe he could win the big game there, just won a bigger game in the state of Louisiana than he has in 3 years at LSU.
Indiana did not deserve the vitriol it received during and after its first-round CFP loss to Notre Dame.
It’s quite possible that the Hoosiers’ only losses this season came to the two best teams in college football.
Have we considered that the Chicago Bears should make the NFL playoffs because their division is just so strong and wins and losses shouldn't matter as much.
I remain incredibly frustrated and disappointed in the commentary regarding the CFP from this past weekend...Games like that happen all the time...Even in the NFL
The first 2 games of last year’s NFL playoffs, where there is no committee picking the field, were 45-14 and 26-7.
Sometimes you would think CFB is the only sport with postseason blowouts.
Two things can be true:
Indiana went 11-1 but got lucky with an easy schedule because the Big Ten has 18 teams and is top-heavy.
Alabama and Ole Miss would have been favored against Indiana but shouldn’t have lost 3 games if they wanted to get into the college football playoff.
