🚨🎙️ Alexander Zverev:
“If I could pick one of the Big 3 to coach me? Earlier I would’ve said Djokovic. But now I would pick Nadal. He had always believed I could win a Grand Slam.”
Congratulations, @AlexZverev on winning @rolandgarros! 🏆 So well deserved after all the hard work and perseverance. You’ve been chasing your first Grand Slam for a long time, and you absolutely deserve it!
And congratulations to Flavio as well for a fantastic tournament! 👏🏻
Happy @RafaelNadal Day to tennis fans around the world 💙
And to celebrate the legend's 40th birthday, we've got 40 hours of Nadal playing on the Fast channel - access it via https://t.co/5yu0xiEN62!
Oklahoma ends Georgia Tech’s season on this walk off homer. Sports production note: is it just me or do we get way too many crowd and reaction shots and not enough of the actual athletes now? Let us see him run the bases! Show the reactions later.
Rafa Nadal played in 14x Roland Garros finals. Half of them against Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic.
Not only did he win every single one, he never even got taken to a 5th set.
The crazy amount of gruelling 5-set matches this year really puts this into perspective.
LeBron James’s postgame interview after winning his 2nd championship with the Heat still gives me chills to this day:
“For me I can’t worry about what everybody say about me. I’m LeBron James from Akron, Ohio — I’m not even supposed to be here. That’s enough. Every night I walk into the locker room I see a number 6 with James on the back — I’m blessed so what everybody says about me off the court don’t matter — I ain’t got no worries.”
This was the night he finally silenced the critics.
