Taken back to theatre, a bleed was found. Post qualifying there have been several times where my work has either saved or changed someone’s life. Our role matters!

Given the decline in university admissions on to Nursing Degree programmes, this is concerning while not surprising!

So many nursing staff are depleted to the point where they are ready to leave the profession behind.

But patients and nursing staff should not have to keep suffering for politicians to pay attention and take action.

We need investment in our profession - and we need it now.

Well, after a 2 year rollercoaster journey, I’m about to get the email to invite me to join the NMC register as a Nursing Associate. The hard work has paid off and the next chapter begins. @WythenshaweINT and @BoltonNursing here I come!

@NurseStandard It only works if trusts are given no option but to adopt it. I know my trust isn’t adopting the national uniform and it won’t be the only one so how will it be a standardised national uniform? Its coming across as a waste of money at the minute for me
