Teachers “can’t” w/ parents but it goes both ways.Since my teen was a baby I’ve told every childcare/teacher “you are helping me raise my babies we are a team”…now I have a teacher who claims I’m a liar and everything is fine as my child is failing their class. I can’t w/ it.

This!!!!! I helped my former 5th grader analyze a paper test (not electronic, shock!) I flipped out because it was 💯 collegiate level. Asked my hubby and he agreed. Talked 2 teacher who said that she “simplified” the test down. We no longer worry about our kids’ tests!

When a 2nd grade word problem on a standardized test is written at a 3rd or 4th grade reading level, then it's not testing for grade level math knowledge, it's testing for above grade level reading comprehension.

@MichelleObama @FLOTUS @POTUS Veteran spouse,hubs medically retired last year. Spouses have ZERO support as we transition. I was in a very dark place, and when hubs received a VA phone call to f/up on his mental we asked about me. Very kindly she said “I’m sorry ma’am but we don’t have anything for u.”
