For a long period, Odisha’s Higher Education sector has been facing serious problems:

🔴 Delayed teacher & lecturer recruitment
🔴 SSB Lecturer recruitment case still unresolved
🔴 Thousands of qualified aspirants waiting for regular jobs
🔴 Heavy dependence on guest/retired faculty
🔴 Vacant teaching posts in colleges
🔴 Recruitment processes lacking a clear, timely calendar
🔴 Students suffering due to shortage of regular faculty
🔴 Repeated delays and administrative inaction

If the Higher Education Department cannot solve these basic issues, who will take responsibility?

Education cannot run on promises and temporary arrangements. Odisha’s students, teachers and job aspirants deserve accountability, transparency and timely recruitment.

👉 The Higher Education Minister must take responsibility and RESIGN if unable to deliver.

Everyone has faced auto-rickshaw fare extortion. Why not make meter usage mandatory and enforce it strictly, just like helmet checking? If an auto refuses to use the meter despite a passenger’s request, the permit should face action.

why has this not been enforced for years?
