@fawunmiolamide@PoojaMedia Nothing concern the organizers. Your DStv refused to pay value for the content, then another company bought the right...it's simply business.
Mind you startimes have been better at promotion local African contents. They have rights to CAF and Asian Tournaments, the NPFL too
@AdejohJoseph13@UNEC_Update As of 2021 the generator developed some fault, it was fixed and it spoilt again few weeks later.
We can't keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. The solar project is the most cost effective alternative we can look at. It saves us from recurring expenses on fuel
@Praise__Ugo@UNEC_Update I'm sorry if my question was construed wrongly, I never intended to sound derogatory.
I believe in politics built on ideology, not on sectionalism. The question was directed towards understanding the candidates the candidates intended approach independent of his faculty.
@Praise__Ugo@UNEC_Update The fact that we can't afford diesel makes it necessary to look at alternatives.
I don't intend to depend on school funding to carryout the solar project but to partner cooporations to do so as part of their co-oporate social responsibility.
@Faithful_boy01@UNEC_Update For correction, I stated that I won't spend the 'union' money on this project so the context of 'our' money doesn't particularly suffice.
If we go with the generator, 'our' money will still be spent on getting diesel which currently has an unstable due to subsidy removal.
@Faithful_boy01@UNEC_Update Using Solar is cheaper when you compare it with the running cost and recurrent expenditure of using the generator.
20million is a huge sum to spend on something phasing off when we can spend more today but save for tomorrow by using the solar.
@Kid_ma_ @UNEC_Update There's an office of Director of Games and that falls within it's jurisdiction. My government will allow all offices to function because the Union is bigger than just the "President"
@Faithful_boy01@UNEC_Update Good day, the need for the solar is built on a futuristic target.
To state again, I'll engage corporations to assist us in this pursuit because the union funds alone can't carry a project of that magnitude.
New generator will cost over 20m, why spend that on the past?
@NicholeSoma1483@UNEC_Update I had succinctly mentioned this when I read out my plan. Over 70% of students stay off campus, so there's need to improve mobility to school.
I'll kickstart the paperwork for the expansion of the backgate to make it motorable. However 7 months is too short to conclude this...
@Affiliate_MP@UNEC_Update Instead of depending on school funding which is more often than not insufficient, the partners will be the ones handling the projects.
I've equally noted possible lapses, hence why I listed a 3 series plan A, B, C. We'll pursue all three at the same time.
