Fix a Leak Week: If your outdoor spigot leaks while you run your hose, replace the nylon or rubber hose washer and ensure a tight connection to the spigot using pipe tape and a wrench.

Fix a Leak Week: Replacing a worn-out flapper is a quick and easy fix. To detect a leak, put a few drops of food coloring in the tank and leave it there for about 30 minutes without flushing. If the water in the toilet bowl picks up the coloring, you have a leak.
