PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Lord, today keep me mindful that as Your child my real home is not on this earth, but that one day I will exchange this tent for a house made by You in heaven. In Jesus Name Amen
Prayer for today:
Heavenly Father, thank you for all the ways You've changed me. I know You aren't finished with me yet, so help me continue to put myself in a position to allow You to grow me and work in me. I desire to become more and more like Jesus. In His name, I pray, Amen
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Father, root out the sin in my life—the shortcomings that are there—and fill me with Your love, so I may fight against the evil present in the world today.
So amazing of the Lords perfect timing.
Needed this today. Maybe others do also.
This Is just one paragraph ftom Greg Laurie devotional today but the rest Is about how David slipped Into sin when let his guard down If you are a Christian then you understand We need to keep moving
Don’t Be an Easy Target
The devil continues to look for easy targets. He knows that it’s easier to hit something stationary than something that’s on the move. A believer who is moving forward in Christ, who is growing in their love for the Lord, is not nearly as easy to hit as one who’s beginning to relax their grip on the Lord. That’s the one whom the devil will set his sights on. That’s the one who will become his next casualty.

Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father, thank you for going with me and before me in every season of life. Even when I walk through dark valleys and danger is present, I know your protective presence is there to guide me. I know whatever challenge I face, I am equipped to handle it because you and I will do it together. In Jesus Name - Amen.
If you know me then you know I grew up a huge wrestling fan. We use to have wrestling rings in several backyards of our neighborhood. We would practice the moves and choreograph the matches and at times entertain other kids in the hood.
We had costumes, belts, mask (how I learned to sew on sewing machine) and fake blood.
With all that said I have no reason to believe at this time that Terry ‘Hulk Hogan’ Bollea is not in the Kingdom of Heaven with Jesus.
From what I’ve read he gave his life to Jesus at a 14 years of age yet over time got caught up in himself and this world “ derailed “ he says as many of us have done. I can relate to him as my testimony is much the same.
He had all that the world has to offer being the most famous wrestler during our lifetime. Yet he states many times that he was tired …. Tired of this and that and tired of himself and way living. He says finally Surrendered It ALL ( again I can relate and part of my testimony that hope to share as write my book )
There is so much more on Hogan but You can look up and make your own decisions.
Bottom line it’s never too late for you to give your life to Jesus until you are no longer living on this earth. There is no second chances, you can’t practice or choreograph dying and what happens after that.
You do not reincarnate, come back as a butterfly or even a pesty fly. Your body dies and your soul transitions to Heaven or Hell.
There are only two choices and you get to decide right now Death is not something to play around with. It’s either Eternity In Heaven or Hell.
I would love for anyone reading this that does not know Jesus as your Savior to reach out to me. I am always open to talk, text or set up time to meet. Do not wait please.

Verse of the Day
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
Ephesians 6:12 NIV
Before this verse it talks about putting on the full armor of God to guard against the devils schemes.
As Christians if we don’t continually focus on Jesus with prayer and in the Word it’s easy for Satan to stray us away with things of this World. If you do not rebuke it then it’s like the snowball effect where starts small and insignificant then continues to grow in size and becomes more significant in your life.

As we come up on the 1 year Anniversary of the Lord calling my dad home next month this devotional from Dr. David Jeremiah reminds me of him. When I was younger I would be so embarrassed when he would start witnessing to others about Jesus but later as I surrendered my life completely to our Savior he was my Inspiration. Many people are In heaven or will be In heaven because he wasnt aftaid to share about Jesus to them
Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God.
2 Timothy 1:8
It’s not unusual for teenagers to be embarrassed when their parents witness for Christ to strangers in public settings. It even happens to adults when one of their friends stops to witness to someone. It’s understandable for children to be embarrassed; it is less understandable when adults have the same reaction.
The apostle Paul reminded Timothy not to be embarrassed (“ashamed”) of two things: Jesus Christ Himself or of his imprisoned friend and mentor. Paul wrote his second letter to Timothy in the final season of his life when he was imprisoned in Rome. Just as Peter had once denied knowing Christ, it would be easy for Timothy to deny knowing the imprisoned apostle. It is worth remembering that Christ told His followers that those who denied Him “before men” He would deny before the Father in heaven (Matthew 10:33).
Take every opportunity to stand for Christ and to stand with those who speak boldly for Him.
Be not ashamed of your faith; remember it is the ancient gospel of martyrs, confessors, Reformers, and saints. Above all, it is the truth of God, against which the gates of hell cannot prevail.
- Charles Haddon Spurgeon.
Father, I know in life that we will have trials. I thank you for making a way and for leading me out. I will not fear evil because you are with me. Thank you for comforting me in the storm.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
