This was one of the more popular ways to chat back in the day. AOL instant messenger was around in 1997. It was discontinued officially in 2017. You used the messenger to chat with friends. You'd hear a door close if friend left and a door open when they signed on.

Looking at some robots back in the day. This was the Omnibot 2000 and it ran for $600.00 back then. I had not learned about these until now. It was able to carry light objects and could have various commands. Do you know anyone who had one of these?
