It's not releasing in q2 of 2027 either. If you haven't figured it out yet this game is never releasing. The original promised date was like 12 years ago. The business model is no to release, it's to keep stringing development along, add more and more bloat, so they never have to release and can just make money off of "promises".
I finally started the Substack I’ve been thinking about.
I wanted a place to share stories, thoughts on games and worldbuilding, ideas I’m working through, and whatever else has taken hold of me.

@GeeksGamersCom Of course the person who financially gains from viewers watching their show wants viewers to watch more of their show.
But, nobody is saying they know the ending of his story, we are saying what they have shown so far has made us uninterested in the story they are telling.
Congrats, you got no loading screen, in a tech demo, it's not even a game yet, and never will be as they keep adding more bloat and forever pushing development further and further back. The single player companions game is only 12 years overdue and just go delayed again, but I am sure this "game" will actually release any day now.
I’m old enough to have lived through people trying to ban Calculators because they were cheating, and then computers because they were cheating, and then using the Internet because that was cheating - No I’m not kidding - when I was in college, we literally had to go to the library and look up facts in physical books and then reference which book we looked the fact up in on our papers because using the Internet to find out the fact was considered cheating.
This is just the next iteration of “new thing = scary and bad”
Doom levels of course make no sense from the viewpoint of a real building.
No architect would construct a space base with a pentagram room, a moat full of radioactive waste, and a switch that opens a door on the far side of the compound. That would be a nightmare.
Any architect will tell you that design is about the spaces, not the walls. But in Doom, the levels are nightmare logic. You are not touring the level - you're being devoured by one.
I've seen lots of levels in which the creators were obsessed with making it realistic, but I think they lost something in the process. I think a lot of them traded something away for it. If you want realism, you already live in real life. I want to build a space that's "wrong" on purpose.
Corie Walsh, an Illinois woman who was allegedly "very invested" in the Lindsay Clancy debacle just offed one of her kids.
According to court documents, Walsh told investigators she k*lled her 2-year old son because he was "the devil and the anti-Christ."
A neighbor first found the child in the basement of the home. She performed CPR while calling 911.
The Will County Coroner's Office said the boy died from asphyxia.
A neighbor who tried to help the little one found Corie Walsh in an upstairs bathtub, harming herself with a knife, court documents also say.
I said it. I said it just the other day. There's going to be more just like this, again and again.
I can't even put into words how sickened and disgusted I am with the state of humanity. It's literally impossible.
Hey Starfield community,
Darren W. Pearce sat with us on After Dark this week. He’s one of ours.
In the span of a month he lost his father and then his wife. This GoFundMe is for the bereavement costs. Please read his story and donate if you can.
Darren is kind and thoughtful, the kind of Captain who shows up for other people.
Let’s show up for him.
