Also in the NT Covenant we are forgiven by confessing our sin to the LORD 1 John.
Let no 1 convince you of the need to confess your sins to a Priest. Confess your sins to the LORD.

@counseloftrent Catholics should just buy some bread and wine. Stay home and bless it. I guarantee their blessing is just as good as any priest. At home they can even drink the wine.

@counseloftrent Trent - why go to building to eat bread and watch a few people drink wine. We are encouraged to assembly together to do “one anothers” to do things like encourage. I believe in taking communion - but do you listen to the homilies? Those people should stay home.
