PSA: Watch the “ban pitbulls” campaign. When the government want to manufacture consent for an unpopular policy they pay a bunch of influencer accounts (determined via network analysis) to push out pre-prepared propaganda usually focusing on a small part supported by reply bots.

18 months ago the same happened in the UK using the exact same talking points and legacy media to ban the Bully XL. Most of the attacks featured weren’t even by a Bully XL.
