- i liked it because the story was interesting. it felt really fresh
- i couldn't really relate when our members said it was really scary
- yeah, i actually watched it pretty early
- people around me started watching it again recently, so it made me think of it again

korean is not ricky’s first language, and is not the translator’s first language either. some expressions can therefore lose nuance or sound more ambiguous in translation. i’m not trying to tell anyone how they should feel about the movie or his wording. i just think there’s a distinction between finding a fictional movie’s horror style less frightening / somewhat quirky and finding the disturbing content depicted in it acceptable in real life
