Black immigrants are about as likely as immigrants overall (36%) to have a college degree. But they are more likely than U.S.-born Black adults (26%) to have one.

Yes, Texas has the largest Black population (~4.3M).
But Texas has 31M+ residents, so that’s still only about 14% of the state.
States like GA, MD, and NC have much higher Black population shares.
