Enjoying sunset last night on Mississippi lake. The humidity has really increased so find yourself a cool spot. It’s 22° now but feels like 29 already. The high approaches 30° (humidex 39). 40% chance of showers with risk of a thunderstorm. Low 20°. Not much change tomorrow.

Blooms from my walk yesterday. Time to dry out for a couple of days. Look for sunny skies with a warm high near 28° today (norm is 26°). Wind WSW 10-20+. UV 8 or very high (don’t forget the sunscreen). Low 14° w/fog patches. Similar Wed. A touch more humid but quite tolerable.

A huge (plate size), but soggy Hibiscus bloom I spotted yesterday while dodging showers. It’s still wet this morning with risk of thunderstorms, then a 40% chance of showers. High 22°. Wind N 30 with gusts near 50. Low 14°. The sun returns tomorrow. High 28°. More sun Wed & 28°.

Spotted this Monarch butterfly yesterday on some echinacea in my garden. A Rainfall Warning is in effect for Ottawa today. Rain, heavy at times (30-50mm locally) with a risk of thunderstorms. High 23°. More rain or thunderstorms overnight into early Monday. Low 17°. High 25°.
