The number of shark diving / feeding operators have exploded in the past 10 years just between Palm Beach and Jupiter Inlet. This practice has dramatically altered the natural behavior and migratory patterns of sharks. Just like pelicans gathering around a fish cleaning table, when a reliable food source is consistently available, there’s little reason for them to leave.
10-15 years ago, you had to aggressively chum to get a few sharks around the boat. Now they just show up when you stop the boat. They’ve unfortunately learned that boats are a food source. The explosion in shark numbers and has had a profound impact on the fishery. Anglers are unintentionally harvesting well beyond their harvest limits on both hooked and released fish (out of season and undersized). This is completely undermining conservation efforts.
I'm not a fisherwoman by trade, but when your 13 year old contacts his favorite influencer with your instagram this is what happens. Thank you @BlacktipH for a wild time.
This wasn’t fishing!
This was wrestling with a giant monster in the ocean. At least it felt like it.
Shout out to the boys @BlacktipH. They know what they’re doing!
On Monday's "National Report," John Bachman gave an inside look at the military base at Guantanamo Bay and how service members spent their Memorial Day weekend on the base.

I would’ve laughed at the suggestion that a 1,500 pound Great White Shark could be lurking off the East Coast of Florida near Jupiter in just 70 feet of water. But my friend, Josh Jorgenson, just proved me wrong. 😳🦈 @BlacktipH
@elonmusk National Marine Fisheries waste millions every year, creates crippling regulations and has completely mismanaged our fisheries. They need to be audited and run by fishermen, not activists!
