@Bunneechan I think some ladyfolk saw what men were allowed to be attracted to, hot chicks in video games, and when the MeToo movement hit, they saw an opportunity to join with identity-based politics and transgender movements to wipe out what they're jealous about.
Is it just trendy to call people pedophiles now?
Left: Rikku in Final Fantasy X (2001)
Canonically 15 years old, midriff-baring outfit, short shorts — classic JRPG fanservice.
Nobody lost their minds or screamed “pedo bait.”
Right: Evie in Stellar Blade: Blood Rain (just announced)
Clearly adult woman, athletic build.
Instant reaction from the usual activists: “pedo bait.”
Same audience. Similar stylized designs.
Only difference?
It’s suddenly fashionable to accuse anyone who likes attractive female characters of being a pedophile.
Why do these activists do this? Is it genuine concern… or just clout-chasing and a way to shame straight male fans?
What do you think?
