@FowlerReece@TortosaExpat Good question Reece, is the 35mill all of it or not? On the podcast they said the Club ( at present) is worth around 60-65mill, 40mill down on what they paid plus the debt the club has of around 50mill, the signs do not look good at all, putting it simply, they've F๐cked us๐UTB
@TortosaExpat Yeah DPS, Does seem they're " trying it on" watched a podcast on Blades finances, doesn't look good at all, & it's all down to their mismanagement, losing out in playoffs & the ridiculous decisions after could well be coming back to haunt us, nothing we can do, frustrating ๐UTB
@Trev_Allison honest Trevor, not a big fan of Wilder but, been a long suffering Blades since 72 & apart from D Bassett, he's the best manager we've had, one things for sure, in our current predicament, can't really see any other person to steady the ship (& f๐ฉCK me, it needs steadying)๐
@Trev_Allison Financially astute ๐ค seem to remember we couldn't pay the bills until Hecky got us promoted & then shafted him aswell, agree about the Yanks though, mind you, as your not a fan of Wilder, wonder if you were chuffed when they sacked him & brought in Selles๐ค๐UTB
@bdtbl_andy Agree but after last season's debacle, experience is vital, suppose it depends on how you think the season's gonna pan out, much harder this season, up front looks poor so gonna need a strong defence/ midfield, hopefully, Dougherty, Jairo & Phillips provide the added " Cover"๐
@bdtbl_andy Could well be right on that on, if he does go, just hope the owners sell at a very good price, unfortunately, always been a selling club, a consequence of decades of poor owners with little ambition ( especially the one before the ones we have now)๐UTB
@bdtbl_andy Plus of course the wealth of experience the likes of Peck & Arblaster will pick up if he signs, especially Arblaster after the horrendous injury he had๐
