@jjvoss@BradWall306 The elected Liberal federal officials are way out classed and have no clue.. They had 9 years to make it better and have Canada be less energy dependent on the US and they did the opposite.. Bring back Energy East and NG and have everyone approve it through ASAP.
@Dono1Mc@ABDanielleSmith PP and the Western Provinces know what they are doing.. The Liberals have zero clue and can't fight their way through a wet paperbag.. and it has been this way for 9 years.. It 100% shows with everything that has been happening over the last couple of months.. Gong show..
@BrentToderian I would have supported a carbon tax if 100% of the proceeds went into something that actually helped remove the excess.. ex. Sequestration, technologies, etc.
Not a wealth redistribution system and a flawed system from the start.
Three days since Donald Trump's historic landslide and already....
- The EU says it wants to buy American natural gas to avoid Trump's tariffs.
- Putin says he will sell Russian oil in US Dollars.
- Hamas is calling for peace.
- Zelenskyy held a private phone call with President Trump and Elon Musk
- Mexico broke up a migrant caravan heading for America.
Nature is healing.
@deb_bidulka Right.. And what is the alternative "the cost more" NDP?
With the NDP siding a lot with the federal Liberals.. I will take my chances with the Sask Party.
@leaderpost I think what needs to happen is that the gov. makes it part of the contract for sizes/complexity and lessen the pay % increase. That will then be considered as negotiations. It is a give and take on all sides. Smaller classrooms mean more teachers and specialists are needed.

@NoSkillz1977@deb_bidulka@CKOMNews Exactly. It was recommended in 2000 that the government use the inclusion model for special ed students.. and now teachers are asking for more help.
Remove the money waste at divisions, and divisions have more money and control. Not a gov. issue..
@deb_bidulka@CKOMNews Let's go with the thought of reduced complexity and sizes.
There were over 190 open teacher positions in SK a month ago.. meaning they couldn't fill the positions beforehand.
The gov. was asked to go with the inclusion model in 2000. Which removed special ed separations.
@deb_bidulka @WillWellin95417 @CKOMNews There are over 100 open teacher positions currently in SK. Imagine what the number will be when classrooms are smaller..
Who gets to decide which kid does not get an education?
@leaderpost The problem resides with the divisions and unions as well.
Even if the government gives back the control back to the divisions for classroom sizes and complexity (as they should), the union will still want more.
@Oilerfan9911@jenniferelle_ Also I would question the accountability for money being spend o. Climate initiatives.. How many trees have been planted by any form of government (federal, provincial or municipal).. Governments spend the money in their general coffer on other items.
@Oilerfan9911@jenniferelle_ I would question that most of the money gets returned to the consumer... Have you talked to any farmers in the last couple of years?
Let me know if they had gotten back the money charged in carbon taxes to dry their grain or shipping the product?
@LottieDottyDah@PremierScottMoe So Quebec and BC can control what comes out of AB or SK, yet we can't?.. Seems like Canada has been broken for awhile. We need a change to constitution and this might be the catalyst.
@friesen_f@PremierScottMoe Where have you been in the last 8 years? Both provinces have.. yet they also want the oil revenue to help with their out of control spending.
It is hypocritical to the 9th degree.
@Oilerfan9911@jenniferelle_ Please explain how a Canadian carbon tax solves global climate change? When the money is in a general fund and not for planting trees, building nuclear plants, etc.
